Check-in times are flexible and will be arranged when your reservation is confirmed. All private investigations must conclude by 10:00 AM the following morning.
Need more time?
Additional hours may be available with advance approval and are charged at the same rate as an additional guest for your reservation.
Booking & Payment
Payments are made through square. You will be emailed an invoice and can make partial or full payments.
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date.
The remaining balance must be paid prior to your scheduled investigation. Your reservation is not considered fully paid until the remaining balance has been received.
All payments, including deposits, are non-refundable because the building is reserved exclusively for your group and removed from availability to other guests.
Bookings made close to the investigation date may require payment in full at the time of booking.

Rescheduling & Cancellations
We understand that plans change.
One date change may be permitted with at least 14 days' notice, subject to availability.
Requests made less than 14 days before the reservation will be reviewed individually and are not guaranteed.
Because the entire building is reserved exclusively for your group:
Cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.
Rescheduling is at the discretion of management.
Group Size & Guest Changes
The person making the reservation is responsible for providing an accurate group size.
If your group size changes before your investigation, please contact us so your reservation can be updated.
Additional guests beyond the number included in your booking are subject to the applicable additional-guest fee.
Guests who arrive but were not included in the reservation may be required to pay the additional guest fee before entering. Entry may be denied if adding the guest would exceed the maximum group size.
Maximum occupancy for private investigations: 15 guests.
Arrival & Check-in
The person who made the reservation is responsible for ensuring that all guests:

A brief check-in/orientation will take place before the investigation begins.
Late arrivals do not extend the scheduled reservation time.
Behavior Policy
Guests who appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave without a refund.

The Old Glenbeulah School is a historic building and is treated with care and respect at all times.
Private Investigations are conducted with the understanding that preservation of the space is a priority. Guests are expected to follow all guidelines provided to ensure the safety of both the building and those inside.

Do we have the entire school to ourselves?
Yes. Private investigations reserve The Old Glenbeulah School exclusively for your group during your scheduled reservation time.
How long can we stay?
Private investigations include up to 16 hours of access. Check-in times are flexible and arranged in advance. All investigations must conclude by 10:00 AM the following morning.
Is the investigation guided?
No. Private investigations are self-guided. Your group is free to investigate approved areas of the school at your own pace.
Do you provide paranormal investigation equipment?
Guests should plan to bring their own investigation equipment unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Can our group size change after we book?
Yes, as long as the total group size does not exceed 15 guests. Please contact us in advance so your reservation can be updated. Additional guest fees may apply.
Can we add extra time to our reservation?
Additional time may be available with advance approval and is charged at the same rate as an additional guest for your reservation.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes, guests may bring food and non-alcoholic beverages for their group. Please clean up after yourselves and dispose of all trash before leaving.
Can we sleep at the school?
Yes. Guests may rest or sleep during their reservation if they choose. The school does not provide beds or sleeping accommodations, so guests should bring any personal sleeping items they may need.
Are minors allowed?
Minors may attend private investigations when accompanied by a responsible adult and with any required waivers or permissions completed before the investigation.
Can we film, photograph, or livestream our investigation?
Personal photography and video recording are permitted. Groups planning commercial filming, livestreams, public broadcasts, or other organized content production should contact us in advance.
Is the building heated or air-conditioned?
The Old Glenbeulah School is a historic building with limited climate control. Indoor temperatures can vary significantly depending on the season, so guests should dress appropriately for the weather.
Is the building wheelchair accessible?
The school has multiple levels and many areas are accessible only by stairs. Guests with mobility concerns should contact us before booking so we can discuss current accessibility and which areas may be available.
What should we bring?
We recommend bringing flashlights, extra batteries or power banks, paranormal investigation equipment, comfortable closed-toe shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, drinks, snacks, and anything else your group may need during an extended investigation.
What happens if we arrive late?
Late arrivals do not extend the scheduled reservation time. Please contact us if your arrival time changes.
Are alcohol or drugs allowed?
No. Guests who appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol may be denied entry or asked to leave without a refund.
Can we host a public or ticketed event during our private reservation?
No. Private investigations are for the personal use of the booking group only. Public, ticketed, or open-admission events require prior written approval from management.
